Accountant

The Professional Accounting Education Program (PPAk) at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Padjadjaran, was established on November 29, 2004, and is among the oldest PPAk institutions in Indonesia, as stipulated by the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Decree No. 4656/D/2004. On December 21, 2009, PPAk FEB Unpad received an A accreditation based on the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) Decree No. 001/BAN-PT/Ak-I/PP/XII/2009. This was subsequently renewed on January 9, 2023, through Decree No. 162/DE/A.5/AR.10/XII/2022, attaining an Excellent accreditation status.

The competitive landscape of the globalization era demands a high degree of professionalism. Consequently, certification programs are necessary to enhance competence and expertise, thereby ensuring the production of high-quality work. Such accounting competence and expertise can be demonstrated by passing certification examinations to meet minimum knowledge standards and gain both national and international recognition, culminating in the designations "Ak" (Accountant) and "CA" (Chartered Accountant).

The courses offered by the Professional Accounting Education Study Program refer to the Chartered Accountant (CA) Syllabus of the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI), which comprises 7 core examination subjects as the main study material. Additionally, the program provides 2 supplementary courses designed to strengthen students' practical competencies through field experience and professional reporting. The 9 courses are as follows:
