The graduate profile of the Public Administration Program is shaped through competency clusters in public organization expertise, public management, public policy, and development administration, which encompass research skills with a focus on the scope of local governance studies. The graduates are expected to: 1. Master the philosophy, ethics, and concepts of public administration. 2. Master public administration research methods. 3. Master the concepts of public policy. 4. Master contemporary issues in public administration. 5. Master governance concepts. 6. Master sustainable development administration studies. 7. Master organizational theory. 8. Master theoretical concepts of public management, macroeconomics, state finance, human resource management, and public services.

The Public Administration Program has 14 collaborative partnerships with national and international institutions. Currently, the program is also initiating collaborations with several world-class universities listed in the QS World University Rankings, including universities in the United States and the United Kingdom.

For three consecutive years, the program secured grants: a 3T grant of 1 billion IDR in 2021, a PKKM (Program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka) grant of 1.095 billion IDR in 2022, and a PKKM grant of 1.4 billion IDR in 2023. The Public Administration Program is the only program within Universitas Padjadjaran to receive the PKKM grant in its second year.
