The Television and Film Study Program at Fikom Unpad prepares graduates for roles as Line Producers, Creatives, and Media Analysts. Designed to produce competent professionals in audiovisual production and media studies, the program integrates a curriculum comprising 60% theory and 40% practice. This includes coursework in film studies, television studies, aesthetics, scriptwriting, screenwriting, directing, editing, television and film production management, as well as the business aspects of television and film.
Situated within the Faculty of Communication, the Television and Film program at Fikom Unpad distinguishes itself with a strong emphasis on message delivery, underpinned by courses such as Communication Theory, Philosophy of Communication, Introduction to Communication Science, and related subjects. Students also acquire technical skills through modern facilities, including television and photography laboratories, and gain practical experience through industry internships.
Adopting an interdisciplinary approach that integrates communication science, arts, culture, and technology, the program fosters creativity and innovation in the creation of audiovisual works that are relevant to both industry and societal needs.
