The Doctoral Program in Dentistry offers several specializations including biomaterials, oral biology, public health, forensic dentistry, dental education, military dentistry, and growth and development.
Graduates of the Doctoral Program in Dental Science at Universitas Padjadjaran are competent as principal researchers and experts in advancing dental science. They are capable of conducting research using interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, and transdisciplinary approaches grounded in evidence-based practice. Graduates are also expected to embody the JAWARA character: Jago (competent, competitive, productive), Wani (religious, patriotic, techno-preneurial), and Rancage (creator, collaborator, initiator). With these competencies, they are prepared to contribute to improving the quality of life in society through the development of globally competitive dental science.
