The Doctoral Program in Law at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Padjadjaran, produces graduates who are globally competitive while upholding local cultural values. The primary advantage of the Doctoral Program in Law at FH Unpad is its research-based (by research) implementation, which is integrated with the research activities of its supervisors.
Under this system, the supervision process operates more efficiently. The research undertaken by students forms part of the overarching research framework of their supervisors. In relation to the dissertation research topic or theme, students attend lectures for specific subjects or workshops aimed at enriching their material and knowledge (matriculation) to help, encourage, and facilitate their research. Consequently, student research can be completed according to their research plan. The academic degree awarded in this program is Doctor (Dr.).
The curriculum of the Doctoral Program in Law has been aligned with the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Number 53 of 2023 concerning Assurance of Higher Education Quality (Permendikbud No. 53 of 2023).
