The Doctoral Program in Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad), is a study program with an A accreditation status and has also received international accreditation from the German accreditation agency FIBAA. This is a Doctor by Research program with an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum.
Research conducted by students must result in at least one publication of an article in a reputable international journal indexed in Scopus with a minimum Q3 ranking. The final project may take the form of a monograph dissertation or a compiled book of at least three scholarly articles (one published, two submitted).
Two types of learning programs are offered: the Regular Program, which features a Promoter Team from within the country, and the International Program. The International Program includes "Joint Supervision" (where one co-promoter is from a partner foreign university) and "Joint Degree" (involving a co-promoter and a study period as well as examinations conducted at a foreign university).
