The Chinese Language and Culture Study Program at Unpad was established on July 21, 2016, with the aim of preparing graduates with Mandarin language skills ready to enter the business and professional worlds with competencies as linguistics practitioners and Mandarin language communicators.
Graduates of the Unpad Chinese Language and Culture Study Program have extensive opportunities to explore careers in various fields that require Mandarin language skills.
To achieve these objectives, courses in Mandarin language skills as well as written and oral translation are provided. Learning a language means learning culture; therefore, graduates are also equipped with cultural knowledge through courses in Chinese Culture, Popular Chinese Culture, and Cultural Studies.
