The Applied Bachelor's Program in Midwifery at Unpad is an educational program aimed at producing competent health professionals capable of providing quality midwifery care.

The curriculum of Unpad's Midwifery program adheres to midwifery education standards set by organizations such as the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) and the Indonesian Midwives Association (IBI). The curriculum is designed to emphasize practical application, with a minimum of 55% of the total credit hours focused on practical activities.

Graduates are expected to possess competencies in various roles, such as

  • Care Provider
  • Community Leader, involving advocacy and community empowerment
  • Communicator, communicating effectively with patients and the community
  • Decision Maker, making appropriate clinical decisions
  • Manager, managing midwifery services independently and collaboratively
