Clinical Medicine

The medical program comprises the Undergraduate Medical Program (PSK) and the Professional Medical Program (PSPD), as an integrated and comprehensive medical education process aimed at producing competent, ethical, and skilled general practitioners prepared to serve at regional, national, and international levels.

In alignment with the curriculum reforms in the medical program, which focus on cultivating critical thinking skills to prepare physicians for societal challenges, the curriculum of the Professional Medical Program is designed using the Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship (LIC) model. This model emphasizes continuity in patient care, supervision, and the integration of the educational system with healthcare services. The learning materials focus on professionalism, patient safety, evidence-based medicine, communication, collaboration, and healthcare system management.

The medical program provides students with opportunities to develop both academic and non-academic potential. Each year, the program sends student delegations to various competitive and reputable events, earning awards and recognition at national and international levels. The medical program has established partnerships with prestigious institutions and universities across various countries for academic activities, research, and student exchanges. This collaboration is strengthened through a network of healthcare services, including clinics and hospitals, particularly in West Java, within the Academic Health System program, to ensure the achievement of physician competencies.
