The Undergraduate Chemistry Program of FMIPA Unpad has implemented a Higher Education Curriculum (Kurikulum Perguruan Tinggi/KPT) developed based on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) and research-driven, with academic management through transdisciplinary and transformative learning approaches. It is deemed necessary to seek quality recognition from an independent international-level body, the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).
The effort to meet standards from national to international levels is believed to bring significant positive change. Therefore, based on this background, the Vision of the Undergraduate Chemistry Program of FMIPA Unpad has been formulated as: "An outstanding undergraduate chemistry program in the fields of natural (biotic and abiotic) materials and environmental chemistry at a regional/ASEAN level by 2018 and at an international level by 2022, committed to professionalism in education, research, and community service in the field of chemical sciences." This also aligns with Unpad's Grand Development Strategy for the periods 2017-2021 and 2022-2026: "To Become a University with Regional and International Competitiveness."
