The Master's Program in Biotechnology at Universitas Padjadjaran offers a two-year education focused on developing students' ability to solve problems and design and conduct research in the field of biotechnology according to their interests and existing issues. Students will be provided with in-depth knowledge of biotechnology principles and scientific methodologies to comprehensively analyze biological systems, with detailed applications in health, agro-biotechnology, industry, and the environment.

The program's curriculum offers a cross-platform approach that enables students to acquire unique expertise attractive to various companies. Students will also be trained in problem-solving skills, project management, and professional communication. In their final semester, students will undertake a final project in the form of a research project with a relevant topic at Unpad, in industry, or at other partner universities or research institutions worldwide that collaborate with the Unpad Biotechnology Program.

This program focuses on enhancing human resource capabilities in reliable, industry-oriented biotechnology research and development. It also encourages multidisciplinary collaboration between academics and practitioners in the biotechnology field, expanding students' professional perspectives and networks. Students can tailor their education by combining courses from various interests related to their chosen research topic, allowing for customization according to individual interests and career goals.
