The Master of Communication Science Study Program is housed within the Faculty of Communication Science at Padjadjaran University (Unpad). The establishment and administration of the Master of Communication Science Program at Fikom Unpad was officially inaugurated in 2009. Currently, the Master of Communication Science Study Program holds an "Excellent" accreditation based on the Decree of the Executive Director of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) No. 3662/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.Ppj/M/IX/2023, valid until 2028.
The inception of this Master of Communication Science Study Program represents a long chapter in the history of the Faculty of Communication Science at Unpad. Today, the Master of Communication Science Study Program has become an independent and comprehensive study program, allowing its development direction to focus on a research-based higher education curriculum in the field of communication.
The strengthening of communication science is examined from its philosophical and methodological perspectives without disregarding its axiological aspect, which manifests in the implementation of communication practices tailored to societal needs and the demands of the professional industry.
