The Master of Political Science Program at Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) is designed to produce graduates who excel and are competent in the fields of democracy, electoral politics, and security politics. This program emphasizes research-based education to ensure students develop a profound understanding and strong analytical capabilities in political science. The Unpad Master of Political Science Program is committed to producing graduates who can compete and contribute significantly to the field of political science, both nationally and internationally.

The Unpad Master of Political Science Program is accredited with an "A" rating by the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT), valid from March 9, 2021, to March 9, 2026. The study program employs a research-based learning approach, encouraging students to actively engage in research relevant to contemporary political issues, particularly in the domains of democracy, electoral politics, and security politics.

Graduates of the Unpad Master of Political Science Program possess competencies in analyzing and formulating political policies, understanding domestic and international political dynamics, and managing contemporary socio-political issues. They are skilled in political research, campaign management, political communication, and international relations. These graduates are also adept at evaluating and designing effective political strategies, as well as comprehending the interrelationship between the state, society, and the market. With a deep understanding of political theory and practice, they are prepared to contribute in government, international organizations, research institutions, the media, and non-governmental organizations to foster positive social and political change.
