Public Policy

The Master of Public Policy Program at Padjadjaran University (Unpad) is designed to produce graduates competent in formulating, analyzing, and evaluating public policies. Originally established in collaboration with STIA LAN Bandung, it became an independent study program under the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Unpad in 2014. The curriculum of the Master of Public Policy Program is structured to provide an in-depth understanding of public policy theory and practice, encompassing policy formulation, implementation, and evaluation.

The Master of Public Policy Program emphasizes a research-based learning approach, enabling students to engage in research pertinent to contemporary public policy issues. The program maintains ongoing partnerships with professional institutions and organizations, both national and international, offering students opportunities to collaborate on various projects and research initiatives.

Graduates of the Master of Public Policy Program at Unpad possess competencies in analyzing, designing, and evaluating effective and sustainable public policies. They are skilled in understanding policy processes, managing social and political issues, and conducting policy research to develop solutions that address societal needs. These graduates are also capable of designing policy implementation strategies, managing public resources, and addressing challenges in public sector decision-making. With a profound understanding of public policy theory and practice, they are prepared to contribute to the formulation and evaluation of policies that support public welfare and sustainable development.
