The Professional Nursing Program (Profesi Ners) at the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran, is a professional education program that accepts graduates from the Undergraduate Nursing Program at the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran. The curriculum of the Professional Nursing Program consists of 36 credits, completed over 2 semesters.
The courses include Fundamentals of Professional Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Maternity Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Critical and Emergency Nursing, Community Nursing, Family Nursing, Gerontological Nursing, Nursing Management, Palliative Nursing, and elective courses. At the end of their studies, students are required to take the Indonesian Nurses Competency Test to obtain a Professional Certificate and earn the title of Ners.
The advantage of the Professional Nursing Program at the Faculty of Nursing lies in its graduates' ability to perform palliative care, which is a flagship course offered in this program, as well as elective courses that provide students with the opportunity to delve deeper into their areas of interest in practice.
