The S1 Biology Program holds superior accreditation (LAM-PEKTI, 2022) and is dedicated to becoming an internationally standardized undergraduate Biology program excelling in the fields of environment and biological resources, while making a positive societal impact. Graduates of UNPAD's Biology program are expected to exhibit personal qualities of loyalty, responsibility, trustworthiness, creativity, independence, ethical conduct, and teamwork. They are capable of integrating and collaborating with other academic and social communities. UNPAD Biology graduates are skilled in examining, analyzing, and resolving environmental issues based on biological scientific perspectives, particularly in the fields of environment and biodiversity. To support this, the curriculum of the UNPAD Biology Program is designed with an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach, offering three areas of specialization: Biosciences, Environment, and Applied Microbiology.

A distinctive advantage of UNPAD's Biology Program lies in its focus on environmental management and biodiversity, supported by expertise in biosystems, microbiology, biosystematics, and molecular biology.
