Specialist education in ophthalmology is a competency-based educational process aimed at producing eye doctors who can provide healthcare services both in the general field of ophthalmology and in more specialized areas. This study program is implemented through a semester credit system with a curriculum that refers to the educational standards and competency standards established by the Indonesian College of Ophthalmology (Kolegium Ilmu Kesehatan Mata Indonesia). The implementation of education in this study program emphasizes the achievement of core competencies while highlighting the program's established strengths.
