The Cardiovascular Disease Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Padjadjaran, was developed with the objective of producing Cardiovascular Disease Specialists capable of delivering competitive cardiovascular services on an international scale. This program is one of the specialist programs at the Faculty of Medicine, Unpad, which has received Excellent accreditation from the Indonesian Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKES).
The Cardiovascular Disease Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Unpad, comprises 22 courses with a total of 130 credits, with a study duration of 8 semesters. The educational process is divided into three stages. Stage I consists of 4 courses over a 9-month period. Stage II comprises 11 courses over a 27-month period. Stage III includes 7 courses over a 9-month period.
The Cardiovascular Disease Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Unpad, is the first cardiovascular program in Indonesia to be accredited by LAM-PTKES with an A rating. The Cardiovascular Disease Study Program has a registry research initiative, specifically a study on Peripartum Cardiomyopathy, which has established both national and international reputations.
