The curriculum of the Russian Literature Study Program at Padjadjaran University (Unpad) is designed based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) with a minimum total of 144 credit hours, completable in 7–8 semesters. The curriculum encompasses various types of courses, including general courses (6%), university courses (4%), faculty courses (10%), study program courses (62%), and MBKM program courses (18%) tailored to students' interests and needs. General and university courses, among others, are part of the Joint Lecture Stage (TPB), which includes Religion, Indonesian Language, Pancasila, Citizenship, and Entrepreneurship and Skill Development (OKK); Community Service; and a thesis or equivalent academic paper. Faculty courses focus on cultural knowledge and elective options based on interest, such as Cultural Diplomacy, Entrepreneurship, and Tourism. Study program courses delve into Russian language, literature, and culture, covering areas such as grammar, conversation, translation, literary analysis, history, cultural studies, and area studies. In addition to outbound courses taken within or outside Unpad, the MBKM program is further concentrated to help students develop soft skills and gain professional experience.
The Undergraduate Russian Literature Program is designed as a multidisciplinary program spanning eight semesters to equip students with a global mindset. Besides mastering Russian as a hard skill, students also study Russian history, literature, and culture in depth. Soft skills are strengthened through university, faculty, and MBKM program courses to prepare students for the professional world. Aligning with graduate profiles and student interests, the program also offers specialized courses, namely Russian for Tourism, Business Administration, Diplomacy, and Journalism. While focusing on language proficiency, the program still instills Sundanese values to enable graduates to apply the principle of "think globally, act locally."
Furthermore, graduates of the Russian Literature Study Program at Unpad have greater opportunities to pursue master's programs in Russia through the Russian government scholarship.
