Agro-Industrial Technology

The Agricultural Industry Study Program at Unpad prepares graduates with the ability to design, develop, implement, control, evaluate, and improve the performance of superior, competitive, and sustainable agro-industrial systems through an integrated approach encompassing bioprocess technology, systems engineering, industrial management, and environmental aspects to increase the added value of agricultural/biological resources and their derivatives.

The curriculum, based on technopreneurship, is designed to be highly engaging, integrating an entrepreneurial approach with technology mastery to produce graduates with high competitiveness in terms of expertise and skills, responsibility, and motivation to develop agro-industry, including from a management perspective. Graduates of this program are entitled to hold the degree of Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering (STP).

Accredited "Excellent" by BAN PT and having undergone ASIIN accreditation visitation for international recognition. The innovative and independent curriculum is based on bioprocess technology and agro-industrial management systems, using an Outcome-Based Education approach that supports technopreneurship and MSME development. It applies sustainability concepts in agro-industries based on natural materials or biomass, as well as the downstream processing and industrialization of research-based agro-industrial products. The program maintains extensive networks with national and international research institutions, regional and central governments, industries, and other universities.
