The Undergraduate Food Technology Study Program at Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) offers a comprehensive education in the field of food science and technology. Students will study various aspects related to the processing, preservation, packaging, storage, and distribution of food materials, with the aim of producing safe, nutritious, and high-quality products. The curriculum is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the principles of food chemistry, microbiology, biochemistry, and food process engineering.
The advantages of the Unpad Food Technology Study Program include having achieved an A accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), demonstrating a commitment to high-quality education. Students have access to laboratories equipped with advanced facilities that support practical coursework and research activities, ensuring they gain hands-on experience relevant to the food industry. The program offers four main areas of specialization, namely Food Chemistry, Food Microbiology, Food Processing Engineering, and Food Processing Technology, with a focus on local and traditional foods.
