The Master's Program in Agricultural Industrial Technology (MTIN) at Universitas Padjadjaran is designed as an innovative educational ecosystem to address the global challenges of agro-industry. MTIN prepares graduates with an engineering mindset oriented toward business outcomes, digital thinking, and transformative leadership character. The MTIN curriculum integrates Outcome-Based Education (OBE), Project-Based Learning (PBL), and the flipped classroom model. Over four semesters, students undertake a phased learning journey:

  • - **Problem–Solution Fit:** Identifying agro-industrial challenges through Design Thinking.
  • - **Market–Solution Fit:** Validating innovations with the real market.
  • - **Business Model Fit:** Designing business models and intellectual property protection.
  • - **Scale-Up & Acceleration:** Developing funding strategies, branding, and business expansion.

The vision of MTIN is "To become an Excellent Study Program in cultivating Innovation-Driven Enterprises based on Sustainable Agro-industry by 2027." Graduate profiles are directed toward five strategic roles: Agri-Tech Innovator, Agro Policy Architect, Sustainable Venture Builder, Community Impact Catalyst, and Agri Media Strategist.

Another advantage of MTIN is the opportunity to participate in dual-degree programs with international universities, including those in Japan. Through this scheme, students can gain cross-country academic experience, build global networks, and earn dual degrees that enhance international competitiveness.

With a total of 56 credit hours, MTIN students are equipped with a strong foundation in process technology, agro-industry digitalization, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. More than just a master's program, MTIN is an innovation ecosystem that fosters technopreneurs and change leaders in Indonesia's and the world's agro-industry.
